TWO WEEKS TO GO!

May was interesting reading Month. Of course I included Rebound amongst my reads while working out the final edits.

I started with Children of Blood & Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. This was book was beautifully written and I loved every moment, apart from the ending which made me so mad I nearly didn't finish but so glad I did. Shortly after finishing, I bought Children of Virtue and Vengeance. Can't wait to continue this series.

Destiny by D.D. Larsen was kindly gifted to me by the author. Thank you so much! I usually don't like werewolf books but this one was beautifully written and I finished it in two days. I'm so excited for Journey which comes out in July, I need to know the next instalment!

I had early access to Bacchanal by Veronica Henry. This book was amazing. It reminded me of Stephen King's IT if it was set in a carnival and based on Yoruba mythology.

I loved the entire cast of characters and all the POV's shown in the book, especially Liza. There was so many twists and turns, very fast paced. Ahiku was a terrifying character, but she didn't seem like your typical antagonist which I liked. Any information dumping was immediately a follow on to plot twists to drive the plot forward and the acts of revenge made me weirdly satisfied. However, some carnival scenes made me uncomfortable but in a good way.

Overall, this entire reading month was great and I've never read so much before. I usually average around four books a month, but I was a huge book worm. June is Indie TBR Month, I can't wait to shout out some amazing indie authors in next months reading wrap up.

TWO WEEKS TO GO UNTIL REBOUND!

This is crazy that REBOUND is coming out in exactly 2 weeks. I've been through so many hardships with this book and seeing it almost complete, with final edits, is amazing. I can't believe it's finally coming up to launch day.

I can't wait to share this book with everybody. This book is chonky and I'm not looking forward to hoarding multiple copies of it because it is going to be heavy!

Currently finalising edits, and working on the print books cover as there are a couple things I need to work out. However, it'll be in your hands soon!

Did somebody say map? My friend Z.K. Dorward kindly made a map of St. Herculia and Olympia to sink your teeth into! If you've ever wondered what you're reading or the location, then this is for all you map lovers. It may be in the book, need to work out some things first but the map is exactly how I envisioned the world.

IN OTHER NEWS

As stated earlier in this post, June is Indie TBR Month. Where people make it a mission to read only self-published books for the entire month of June.

Nicola Ormerod has created an event on TikTok where myself and other amazing indie authors have teamed up to give away some of our books away for free throughout the entire month of June.

This event is to hype up Indie Books and to boost reviews. As other indie authors know, reviews are highly important to gain exposure and reach more readers.

If you didn't know this event existed, that's okay. I'm hosting a special promotion on GooglePlay. If you click on this link you can get Listed's ebook for free, for the entire month of June.

All none-promo code purchases will be full price.

This about wraps up this weeks blog. I hope you enjoy it!
