Reading Wrap Up & More

June was Indie TBR Take Over Month and for this month, myself and over 70 other authors teamed up to offer our books for free in exchange for reviews.

These were really good. I liked Shattered Souls, it had a great plot with heists, and surprisingly robots. It had great description and interesting characters.

Screams of the Damned was surprising for me. I didn't expect to like it because I don't usually go with books about witches, however this one I couldn't put down. It was a fast read that let me speed through.

I had the pleasure to be an Advanced Reader of Darkest of Thrones by Blanche Maze. This is a new author for me and I really enjoyed this book, there were a lot of twists, the LGBT representation was nice to see and the ending was a total mind boggle. I can't wait to see where the story leads!

Then Glow by Raven Kennedy, I freaking loved this book. The Plated Prisoner series as a whole has been five stars across the board. It's probably my favourite series this year and I totally get the hype for it.

Glow had me laughing, crying, screaming in parts and I need the fifth book. I can't wait a year hahaha.

Writing News:

The Stars Plot Revenge got so many good reviews during Indie TBR June. I loved that it got some attention and people really enjoyed it, which has made them excited to read The Moon Denies Rulers. Thank you to everybody who picked up the book during Indie TBR June, you're amazing and I loved all of your reviews.

The edits on The Moon Denies Rulers is going swimmingly. In the second book there is a lot to unpack, it's raw and gritty with high impact scenes and I can't wait to share it with people in 2023.

I'm also deep into writing book 3 of The Fallasingha Chronicles, this one has been really tough to write but it's rewarding. My characters are having to grow so much in this book. It does need some tweaks, but I'm focusing on getting the first draft done before fixing the rest of it.

This series is epic and I can't wait to unpack more of the world with everybody as it goes on. The world in The Fallasingha Chronicles is enormous and I'm working on some spin offs later on.

Stay tuned!
