Author Interviews, Birthday's and NaNoWriMo

I missed Sunday again, oops. But I have been so busy lately, and my computer has decided to become a potato and act like it wants to be a snail so I am fighting it in trying to get LISTED's sequel finished this month during NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month).

For those who don't know what NaNoWriMo is, it's a challenge where you try to write a 50K word manuscript in 30 days. Currently, I am above target. I'm almost at 40K words and still going strong. The biggest challenge with NaNoWriMo is the fact of my computer issues, I have almost lost the manuscript three times at this point, and so thankful I am continuously backing up my work.

I had one of my first ever author interviews via Zoom with ERRstories. The interview Elydia was so much fun, and she was so kind and friendly. You can watch it by clicking on the photo below. I got to talk about my writing journey, LISTED and give advice to new authors in this interview to help new authors become inspired.

There was another author interview I had with award winning author Sabinah Adewole, again I got to talk about LISTED, my writing journey and challenges I faced along the way. It was great to discuss these topics for other authors.

(Don't worry if you can't find this interview, go onto the author interview tab then scroll all the way down and it's there.)

Anyway I celebrated my mums birthday on the 11th of November, we couldn't do much with UK being in lockdown. So we stayed in and watched movies, ate cake and had wine. Then on the 17th of November, we celebrated my birthday! Again, we were in lockdown so couldn't do anything (go figure), but I made the most of it, watched a lot of movies such as both Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory adaptations, then we rented Inkheart and Maze Runner: The Death Cure. Rental movies, who would have thought.

I got physical copies of ACOTAR and I got my very first booksleeve! After reading and falling in love with the ACOTAR series on ebook, I had to get the physical copies to read them again when I don't want to waste my phone battery. I am so excited about this booksleeve, as somebody who usually travels a lot this will be in a lot of use to protect my books when I am on the move. There will be another update on Sunday because I missed last Sunday. So happy reading!
